HOW TO GET MORE PERFORMANCE

Electric flywheel blaster performance can vary widely. It is affected by many factors: the motor, flywheel cage, flywheels, battery, wiring, switches, and darts. Changing any one of these parts can change the fps and range. Most websites that sell parts will offer basic advice on a good starter setup. It’s easiest to start with a good combo that’s been tested by other Nerfers.

The distance between the motor shafts is usually how we measure crush. It can also be measured as the distance between the two flywheels, because flywheels can vary in size. The left cage is a 41.5mm sizing. The right is a 43.5mm. That 2mm distance makes a huge difference in performance and reliability.
